First and foremost, happy holidays to all of you! Whether you celebrate any holidays this time of year or if you are just happy to be done with 2025 and look forward to ringing in 2026, I hope you are getting some time to gather with your loved ones and to decompress.
I wanted to also provide you with the letter that Commissioner Frank J. Bisignano wrote to Congress about the improvements he has made at the Social Security Administration ("SSA") this year: https://www.ssa.gov/agency/commissioner/assets/materials/coss-letter-to-congress-year-in-review.pdf?utm_medium=email&utm_source=govdelivery.
The start of 2025 was extremely rocky for SSA. There were certain people put in place who felt it was their jobs to disparage the system along with the Federal employees. Thankfully those people are gone and Commissioner Bisignano has been both a calming and proactive presence at SSA. I feel hopeful for 2026 when it comes to SSA. I think we will see more technological advancements. By all reports, Commissioner Bisignano treats the workers at SSA with dignity and respect, so I think 2026 will also help to restore a sense of pride for those who have devoted their lives to civil service.
I want to thank all of our clients who have endured all their health challenges, as well as lengthy timeframes associated with filing for Social Security Disability benefits. I also want to thank all the workers at SSA for enduring the attack on their character at the beginning on 2025. You did not deserve that and I am glad you now have a Commissioner who values your contributions. May you all be blessed with health and happiness for 2026 and many years to come!
